Build Capacity You Control

Your Fundraising Workload Keeps Growing.
Your Team Does Not Have To.

What if you opened your laptop tomorrow and the donor emails were already drafted, the grant research already organized, the board report already mapped out? That's what we install — Claude, at the 75% nonprofit discount most organizations don't know exists, wired into your grants, donor follow-up, and reporting. In 30 days, for one flat fee — so more applications go out the door, more donors give a second time, and more funders renew.

Does this sound familiar?

You're Doing the Work of Five People.
Something Always Gets Dropped.

You're writing the grants, sending the emails, managing the donors, making the graphics, updating the website — and somehow also running the actual programs. So fundraising gets pushed aside, follow-ups slip, and the whole organization starts running in survival mode. Not because you don't care enough. Because you never had enough support.

"

Fundraising keeps getting pushed aside

The LOI due Friday is written at 9pm — after the real job. Grant deadlines compete with everything, and everything usually wins.

"

Donor follow-ups quietly slip

Tuesday's gift gets next Thursday's thank-you. Lapsed donors never hear from you at all. They notice — they just don't say it.

"

You've tried AI. It didn't stick.

You typed a question, got something "good enough," and started over from scratch the next day. That's using AI like Google — it doesn't know your organization, your donors, or your voice.

The difference isn't a better prompt. It's an AI that actually knows your organization — your files, your donors, your goals, your voice — set up once, so nobody starts from scratch again.

The same work, with a system behind it

How You Do It Today vs. How It Runs
After the Install

These aren't hypotheticals — they're the three workflows we build, shown against how lean teams have always had to do this work. Each one runs on your data, in your voice, with a real prompt your team learns to drive.

1 · The grant LOI

6–10 hours → under 1 hour
How it's always been done
  • Re-read the funder's guidelines for the third time
  • Dig through old proposals for the program language that worked
  • Hunt down last year's outcome numbers across spreadsheets
  • Write from a blank page — at night, after the real job
  • Second-guess the tone, reformat, repeat per funder
6–10 hours per LOI, all on one person
After the install
  • Claude already has your past proposals, program data, and outcomes connected
  • First draft in minutes — in your organization's voice, matched to the funder's guidelines
  • Your writer edits and strengthens instead of starting from zero
  • Every funder's quirks saved to the workflow, reused next time
Under an hour — and the writer goes home at 5
The kind of prompt your team will run"Draft a 2-page LOI for the Hartwell Foundation using our FY25 youth-program outcomes and the narrative from our Marston proposal. Match Hartwell's guidelines in the connected folder, and keep our usual warm, evidence-first tone."

2 · Donor follow-up

days late → same day
How it's always been done
  • Thank-yous batched "when there's time" — usually days later
  • One generic template for a $50 gift and a $5,000 gift
  • Lapsed donors get nothing at all — nobody has the hours
  • Every letter that matters written by hand, from scratch
Tuesday's gift, next Thursday's thanks
After the install
  • Claude reads the day's gifts from your CRM each morning
  • Personalized drafts referencing the donor's history and the program they gave to
  • A monthly lapsed-donor re-engagement batch, drafted and queued
  • You review and hit send — the remembering is the system's job
Same-day, personal, every single gift
The kind of prompt your team will run"Pull yesterday's gifts from the CRM. Draft a personal thank-you for each donor over $250 — mention their giving history and the specific program their gift supports. Flag any first-time donors for a call from the ED."

3 · Board & funder reporting

a week → an afternoon
How it's always been done
  • Copy numbers between the CRM, spreadsheets, and last quarter's deck
  • Rewrite the narrative from memory, hoping nothing's missed
  • Reformat everything because "the board wants it cleaner this time"
  • Your best fundraiser off the phones for a week, every quarter
~1 week per quarter — a month a year
After the install
  • Claude assembles the numbers from your connected CRM and sheets
  • Drafts the board narrative and funder reports in your template
  • Flags the variances worth explaining before the board asks
  • Your fundraiser reviews it — then gets back to donors
An afternoon. The month goes back to fundraising
The kind of prompt your team will run"Build the Q3 board report from the connected CRM and budget sheet, using our standard template. Summarize giving vs. goal by program, note anything 15% off plan, and draft the ED's one-page narrative."
A typical lean team gets 10+ hours a week back across these three workflows.Illustrative times based on typical small development teams — your Week 1 assessment maps your actual numbers before we build.

3× more applications

When an LOI takes an hour, the same writer submits to funders you used to skip. Grant revenue is a volume game — volume is what you just bought.

Same-day thank-yous

Prompt, personal thanks is one of the best-documented drivers of second gifts — plus a monthly lapsed-donor batch working your existing file.

+1 month a year

The reporting month goes back to what only a human can do: major-donor visits, sponsor calls, and asks that weren't happening.

The back-of-napkin pipeline math: +2 applications/mo × $15K avg grant × 15% win rate $54K/yr in new grant revenue

Illustrative math — swap in your own averages on the free call. Any one of the three engines pays for the install many times over.

The AI Fundraising Install

What We Set Up — and Leave Running

This is not a strategy deck or a webinar. It's a working system your team owns on day 31.

1

Eligibility & the 75% discount

We verify your 501(c)(3) status and enroll you in Claude's nonprofit program — Team plans from $8 per user, per month.

2

Workspace connected to your data

Claude wired to your CRM and files — Blackbaud, Virtuous, Bloomerang, Google Drive — so answers come from your donor data, not the internet.

3

Three documented fundraising workflows

A grant-drafting pipeline, a donor follow-up engine, and a reporting workflow — written down, so they survive staff turnover.

4

Whole-team training

Anthropic's free AI Fluency for Nonprofits course as pre-work, then two live working sessions with your actual campaigns and grants. Everyone leaves having shipped something real.

5

An AI policy your board will approve

A plain-language governance policy covering donor data, privacy, and acceptable use. 47% of nonprofits don't have one. You will.

6

30 days of on-call support

When someone gets stuck in week three, they message us — not a help forum.

Built in Week 2 — the five materials every fundraising conversation pulls from
Case for support — your messaging pantry; every ask cooks from it Aligned donor list — who already wins when you succeed Appeal template — hook, heart, ask, hope Thank-you template — human, specific, sent within 48 hours Sponsorship deck — a 6-page business offer, not a charity pitch

Drafted with Claude from your own program data and voice — then the workflows keep them working: every appeal, thank-you, and sponsor email pulls from these automatically.

Steal these — seriously

Six Revenue Plays the System Runs

This is what we mean by "installing Claude systems": prompts that produce money-in-motion — appeal blasts, sponsor proposals, renewals — not busywork. Run these yourself today; they work. The install connects them to your CRM, your voice, and your materials so they run on your data, on schedule, without you.

Email blast · Appeals

The segmented appeal blast

“Segment our donor list: major gifts, monthly givers, one-time donors. Draft three versions of the spring appeal — hook, heart, ask, hope — with the ask amount sized to each segment's giving history. Format them ready to load into our email platform.”
Revenue it drives → one appeal, three conversion rates instead of one
Email blast · Year-end

The year-end campaign, planned in a day

“Plan our GivingTuesday-through-Dec-31 campaign from our case for support: a 6-email sequence with send dates, 12 social posts, and a matching-gift push. Draft email one now.”
Revenue it drives → the ~30% of annual giving that happens in December
Email blast · Win-back

The lapsed-donor blast

“Pull everyone who gave last year but not this year. Draft a personal win-back email for each — reference their last gift and what it made possible. Batch them for my review by segment.”
Revenue it drives → your cheapest revenue is donors you already earned
Proposal · Sponsors

The sponsor deck tailored to THEIR goals

“Research [business name]: their customers, community initiatives, recent news. Draft a 6-page sponsorship proposal built around THEIR goals — audience snapshot, custom activation ideas, partnership levels priced for them, one clear call to action.”
Revenue it drives → businesses buy alignment and audiences — a deck about them closes meetings
Proposal · Renewals

The sponsor renewal that sells itself

“Build [sponsor]'s end-of-season impact report: reach numbers, photos to include, what their dollars did. End with next year's proposal at one level up, with two new activation ideas.”
Revenue it drives → renewals at a higher level, without a cold re-pitch
Proposal · Grants

The LOI pipeline

“Find foundations funding our program area in our state with grants of $10–50K. Rank by fit, list deadlines, and draft tailored LOI openers for the top three from our case for support.”
Revenue it drives → more shots on goal, each one aimed

Fit

If These Problems Sound Familiar,
the Install Might Make Sense.

You're a fit if

  • You're a verified 501(c)(3) with $750K–$10M in annual revenue
  • Your development team is 1–3 people wearing several hats
  • Your donor data lives in a real CRM (or at least real spreadsheets)
  • Someone on staff is already experimenting with AI on their own
  • You have grants to write and donors to steward — right now

Probably not a fit for the full install if

  • You're under $750K in revenue — start with the Starter Kit or Cohort instead
  • You want someone to do the fundraising for you (that's our campaign service — ask)
  • Your leadership hasn't decided whether AI is allowed at all
  • You're a government agency or political organization (program rules, not ours)
Not ready to commit? See it live first.

Watch us build one of these workflows in front of you — on the free call, with real examples.

No slides, no pitch deck. We'll draft a real LOI or donor sequence live so you can judge the system by watching it work, not by taking our word for it.

Questions

Fair Questions, Straight Answers

Is FundingBoost part of Anthropic?

No. We're an independent consultancy. We implement Claude because its nonprofit program — the 75% discount, the Blackbaud and Candid connectors — is currently the strongest offer in the sector for teams like yours. If that changes, our advice changes. You pay Anthropic for software and us for implementation; we take no commission on either.

Is our donor data safe?

The governance policy we write with you covers exactly this: what data can go where, in plain language your board can approve. Claude's Team and Enterprise plans don't train on your data by default, are configurable to meet SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, ISO 42001, and CSA Star compliance needs, and the CRM connections are read-scoped to what your workflows need.

We already use ChatGPT. Why switch?

You don't have to abandon anything. But individual ChatGPT accounts are exactly the 81% pattern — one person, no shared workflows, nothing documented. The install is about the system, and Claude's nonprofit pricing and CRM connectors make it the practical choice to build that system on.

Do we qualify for the discount?

Verified 501(c)(3) organizations and K-12 schools do; verification takes about three minutes through Goodstack. Government agencies, political organizations, and higher-ed institutions are excluded by the program. The eligibility check is free either way — worst case, you find out in three minutes.

What happens after the 30 days?

You own everything — the workspace, the workflows, the documentation. Most teams run independently from day 31. Some ask us to stay on and run donor-acquisition or sponsorship campaigns on top of the new system; that's FundingBoost's campaign service, and it's entirely optional.

What about the Claude Corps fellowship we've heard about?

Anthropic's Claude Corps places fully-funded fellows in U.S. nonprofits, with implementation grants attached. If you're a candidate, we'll tell you during the eligibility check and help you apply — a fellow plus an installed system is a genuinely great combination.
